Front Pages of the World

What is your favorite newspaper front page? Why?
My favorite newspaper fort page was from Reykjavik, Iceland, titled Fréttabladid, because I thought the layout was interesting, especially the man that was in the middle of the spread with the text going around him.

What is your favorite headline from that newspaper? Why are you interested in it?
How many stories are on the front page of your favorite?
There are 3 stories on the cover of this newspaper. My favorite headline is "Naerri hundrað beiðnir berasá ári vegna átröskunar", which talks about eating disorders, and that surprised me when I translated it because I don't see people publicly talking about these personal struggles that many people go through. It is my favorite because in America, the media doesn't give attention to these real, personal, everyday issues.

What do you notice that all newspaper front pages have in common? Look at design, size of photos, size of story text, etc.
All of the front pages have at least one big photo with the main story next to it and at least two smaller photos to bring attention to a couple of other stories. The main story and photo are usually at the top.
What are things that vary (or are different) on the front pages of different newspapers? Look at design, size of photos, size of headlines, etc.
The front page in Tokyo didn't have any large photos on it, and a lot of the covers din't have ads on the while others did. Most of them looked very similar with their font size and arrangement.
